Not just another walk ‘Inn the Park’

Nestled in on the border of Satwa & Jumeirah & right opposite Citywalk, Al Khazzan Park is one of the smaller parks in the city but is known to every Dubai resident mainly due to the iconic water tower located right in the center of the park.

The park originally opened back in the in the 1980’s much before Dubai was everything it is today. Though the park had to shut down its doors in the late 2000’s but it was brought back to life as UAE’s first completely solar powered park.

Even if you aren’t familiar with the name of the park many of you may recall this as the home to by Parkers when it initially opened its doors back in 2015.

As I discovered on a lazy Saturday morning, located in the heart of the park is one of Dubai’s best-kept secrets, ‘Inn the Park‘, which is a very hipsteresque café developed by the same team responsible for the Bystro Café on Sheikh Zayed road.

The cafes ambiance is out of this world with their raw coral walls & their quiet green surroundings. (Did I mention they make amazing Instagram opportunities)

The Park has quickly become my go-to place to escape the city’s hustle & get some work done. (take a guess as to where I’m sitting right now and working on this blog post)

The café embodies a laid back vibe with its picnic style tables spread all around the park, under the shades of massive trees.

The free Wi-Fi makes it an ideal place for anyone to come kick back and relax or get some serious work done. (Honestly, though, I’m planning to ask them about a rental plan so I can move in full time asap!)

Did I mention there’s even has a community Library right next to it that is curated by the Brownbook team & is free to use for all customers.

The café is open every day from 9 am – 7 pm & serves up everything from eggs benedict to mushroom risotto. (Check out the complete menu here)

(P.S: my personal favorite would have to be their shrimp tacos. )

you can even take your little ones as they can have their fun at the kid’s playground while you work.

P.S: Don’t forget to take your camera because it’s definitely a place to make some memories!
